‘You selected yourself’ Falz Blasts Sanwo-Olu over appreciation post to Lagosians

Nigerian singer and rapper, Falz, aka Bop Daddy, has blasted Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his gratitude post he shared with Lagosians.

After the re-elected Governor posted on Twitter, Falz replied angrily to the Governor’s post on the same platform.

It will be recalled that the Governorship election was held over the weekend across Nigeria. And in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu emerged winner under the APC umbrella.

Falz, who was rooting for the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes, did not seem pleased with the result as there have been reports of mayhem, violence and rigging.

Falz insisted that the people did not elect Sanwo-Olu, and he had forcefully elected himself as it was a glaring fact for all to see.

He replied: You were not re-elected. You selected yourself. Everybody saw it unfold. You are only deceiving Yourselves.

Singer Falz and other voters allegedly attacked in Ikate, Lagos
It will be recalled that during the presidential election, which took place in February, Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana was allegedly attacked at his polling unit.

According to information which reached Kemi Filani, the singer and other voters in Ikate, Lagos was attacked by thugs. The singer’s phone was allegedly been stolen.

The report making rounds showed that the ballot papers were being torn apart and scattered by the area boys. This was because the support for Labour Party was massive and they couldn’t take it.

Jaratunes also learnt that voters were being scared back homes for safety as many phones had been seized.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Funke Akindele deleted all political posts from her Instagram page. In other news Funke Akindele deleted all political posts from her Instagram page.

Looking at Funke’s Instagram page, Kemi Filani noticed that the Box Office queen deleted all political posts concerning herself and her principal, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, better known as Jandor, after they contested under the People’s Democratic Party for governor and deputy governor positions in Lagos state.
