Nigerian celebrities react as Tems breaks silence on her drama causing outfit

Fast rising Nigeria international singer, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems has reacted to her outfit which caused a stir at the just concluded Oscars 2023.

Tems shared beautiful photos of herself on her verified Instagram page, with a “Uh Ohh!” caption that got many Nigerian celebrities talking.

Celebrities such as Simi, Spinall, Ebuka, Brodashaggi, Uche Jombo, Neo AKpofure, Denola Grey, and a host of others, reacted to Tems’ photos with heartwarming words.

Reactions as Tems outfits trends on social media

Jaratunes earlier reported that Tems trended on social media over her outfit at the 2023 Oscars.

The 95th Annual Acadia awards was held on Sunday night, March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, US.

Tems, who was one of the attendees of the night, rocked the red carpet wearing a white dress and matching headpiece.

The 27-year-old was nominated for the Best Original song courtesy of her collaboration with American singer Rihanna and others on ‘Lift Me Up’.

Though they didn’t win, Tems was the centre of attention in her Lever Couture SS23. The beautiful dress had a huge head piece that has gotten many talking online.

Tems wins Grammy Awards

Jaratunes reported that Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, had broken records as she won her first Grammy award.

The Nigerian singer, who keeps soaring higher and breaking records, had become the first Nigerian female artiste to win a Grammy.

The singer, won the prestigious award at the 65th Grammy award held last night, February 5th, 2023, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Her feature on American rapper, Future’s song, ‘Wait for U’, which also featured Drake, earned her the award.

Tems wins BET Awards

Jaratunes also reported Tems had penned a touching tribute to all the senior female colleagues in the music industry.

The singer who made history as the first female Nigerian singer to win an international act award at BET Awards had penned an appreciation post.

Tems tweeted her appreciation to Tiwa Savage, Asa, Omawumi, Waje, Yemi Alade, Simi, Niniola, Ayra Starr, Temi, and many others for existing.

She noted how their decision to get up and do something inspired her, stating that anytime she saw them gracing the stage, she felt it was her.
