Watch Burna Boy’s Mother Send Message To Black Americans, Advises Them Not To Forget Their Roots

Bose Ogulu who also doubles as Burna Boy’s manager gave a mindblowing speech as she accepted the 2019 BET Best International Act on the singer’s behalf.

While giving her acceptance speech, Burna Boy’s mum reminded Africans of the famous Bob Marley quote “It doesn’t matter where you are from as long as you are a black man, you are African – Bob Marley”.

She advised Africans not to forget their roots as majority forget who they are and try to be something else.

“remember you were first an African before any other thing.”
