Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has tested negative to Coronavirus.
The Spokesperson to the VP, Laolu Akande confirmed this in a message obtained by Nigeria Info correspondent, Philip Nwelih.
There were rumors of Osinbajo contracting the Coronavirus after the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari reportedly tested positive on Tuesday. Osinbajo has been in self-isolation ever since the test results were announced.
On Tuesday, the VP conducted his meetings via video conferencing in his office, while observing social distancing. He continues his work from the home office, as he is in self-isolation in accordance with NCDC protocols, Laolu Akande revealed.

President Muhammadu Buhari had also tested negative for the new Coronavirus although reports claim he has been coughing profusely and maybe receiving treatment in the ICU in the presidential villa.
