Four more coronavirus deaths recorded in Lagos state

Lagos state has recorded four more coronavirus related deaths today, Thursday, 21st May, 2020.

This was disclosed via the state’s Ministry of Health’s Twitter handle this afternoon. This brings to 42 the number of COVID19 related deaths recorded in the state. The tweet read;

”199 new cases of #COVID19 Infection confirmed.

Total confirmed cases in Lagos as at 20th of May is 2,970.

17 #COVID19Lagos patients; 6 females & 11 males were discharged. Total Discharged now 649.

4 COVID19 deaths were recorded. This brings the number of #COVID19 related death in Lagos to 42.”

Nigeria recorded 284 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the 20th of May, 2020, bringing the total number of confirmed cases at 6677.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) shared the break down of the new cases found in Nigeria on Wednesday and Lagos had the highest recorded cases, followed by Rivers state.

According to the report, Lagos recorded 199 new cases, Rivers 26 and Oyo 19. See full break down below.
