Funke Akindele grateful as celebrities storm her mother’s burial

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele Bello has expressed gratitude as celebrities storm her mother’s burial ceremony today, the 11th of March 2023.

Funke Akindele’s sister, Olubunmi Akindele, shared a video of herself at the event of her mother’s burial.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Olubunmi wrote, “Ose Oluwa o baa oju ati eyin #IyaBunmi jee……Halleluyah si iwo Olohun wa!!!! Thankful and grateful to the most high God!!!”

Nollywood artiste and one of the big faces in Jenifa’s Diary, Paschaline Alex, Cyndy Samson and others joined Funke Akindele as her mother was finally laid to rest.

Paschaline Alex shared photos she took with Funke Akindele at her mom’s burial on Instagram, with a graceful caption about the deceased.

“We joined My Woman @funkejenifaakindele to celebrate the life of her beloved mother as she was laid to rest.

“May her gentle soul Rest In Peace. We miss you, Mama Racheal Bolanle Akindele.”

Funke Akindele, grateful about the turn up for her mom’s burial, took to Pachaline Alex’s comment section to express her gratitude.

Funke Akindele loses mother

Jaratunes reported that Funke Akindele had lost her mother.

The news was shared by her sister, Olubunmi Akindele, who disclosed that they lost their mother on the 7th of February.

“It is with heavy hearts, but in total submission to God Almighty, that the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday, 07 February 2023.

May her gentle soul begin its rest eternal in peace. Amen. Obsequies in honour of her passing shall be announced in due course.

May her soul rest in peace, Amen”.

Funke Akindele pulls massive crowd at Ikorodu

Jaratunes recalls that Funke Akindele pulled a massive crowd at her father’s hometown, Ikorodu Lagos, when she stormed the area for her official unveiling as the state’s PDP deputy governor.

The delighted crowd stormed the streets to shower their support for Funke Akindele and Olajide Jandor ahead of the 2023 general elections.
