Condolence messages pour in from celebrities as Dayo Adeneye loses mother

Media entrepreneur and hall of Fame broadcaster, Dayo Adeneye popularly known as Dayo D1 has lost his beloved mother.

The Kennis FM Co-founder announced the death of his mother on his Instagram page on Friday, March 10th.

Sharing a photo of him and his beloved mother, the media entrepreneur bade her goodnight.

He revealed that his mother had gone to rest and be with her maker.

Recounting her life span, Dayo noted how his mother lived a good life.

“Good night my Sweet mother. Iya Kayode (Mama D1) has given to rest and be with her maker. You lived a Great life and we your children are all the Better for it.
Thank you Mum.
Gbo gbo wa la ma gbeyin arugbo wa”.

Funke Akindele loses mother

Just days back, Kemi Filani reported that Funke Akindele lad lost her mother.

The actress’s mother passed away on Tuesday night, February 7th, 2023.

The sad news was shared by her sister, Olubunmi Akindele, in a statement via her Instagram page, on behalf of the family.

Praying for her mother’s soul, Olubunmi stated that the family would communicate her funeral rites in due time.

Breaking her silence on her mother’s death, Funke shared a video collage of her mother, Funke stated that she and her siblings are not mourning her, rather they are celebrating a life well lived.

The Lagos State deputy governorship candidate listed out her mother’s unique qualities, which includes being lively, jovial and being the life of the party. She noted how her mother’s has instilled the spirit of prayers in her, her siblings and even her young grandchildren.
